WAIT, I CAN FLOAT AFTER WORK?
Yes you can! Start your float as early as 3:00pm or as late as 6:00pm. It only takes about an hour for the Elk River’s therapeutic tendencies to take place, so you should be back before dark. Sunday – Friday ONLY!

5-Mile Float
Route: Low Water to River Ranch
Distance: 5 Miles
Avg. Time: 4-5hrs
This route is perfect for all crafts especially rafts & tubes!
8-Mile Float
Route: Big Bend to River Ranch
Distance: 8 Miles
Avg. Time: 5-6hrs
The longer route of the two is optimal for those floating in kayaks & canoes!
1-Mile Float
Route: Sycamore Landing to River Ranch
Distance: 1 Mile
Avg. Time: 1hr
A route for tubes only, this float is perfect for those getting off work and want to relax & unwind.
*Times are based on average water conditions. Lower and slower water levels will stretch times out. In the event the 8 mile becomes too low, all floats will convert to the 5 mile.
