We’ve got over 800 five-star reviews on Google and more than 1,100 total. That’s a big number, and big numbers can start to feel like marketing. So instead of writing another post about how much we love our guests, we’re going to let a few of them do the talking.

They Come Back Every Year (Sometimes for Decades)
Justin drove down from Wichita, Kansas to tell us about his last two decades at River Ranch:
“I’ve been going to this campsite for 20 years. It’s the most scenic river float within 300 miles of me. Maybe more. I drive from Wichita, KS and I go every year.”
Kenneth Starks doesn’t wait for the annual trip. His family comes three times a year:

Read enough reviews and you notice something: guests don’t just mention the staff. They remember them by name.

We hire mostly local. A lot of our team started here as high schoolers. Those are the people you meet when you walk into the store.
The Guests Who Didn’t Think They Were Campers
Some of our favorite reviews come from the people who almost didn’t come at all. Abby Feek was one of them:
“I am not a camper. I don’t enjoy sleeping in tents or even RVs. HOWEVER, these little pods were so freaking cute and comfortable! The bed was amazing. This is the only way I will camp!”
The glamping pods were built for exactly this. If you’ve been told your whole life you’re “not a camper,” we’d argue you just haven’t tried the right setup.
The Guests Who Aren’t Here to Float
Not every guest comes for the river. Dana Lamb’s review is one we save:
“Unlike others in the area, they welcomed us without requiring a river float, understanding that not everyone is physically able to participate. This place made us feel seen, respected, and valued. If you’re looking for a place that’s inclusive, understanding, and peaceful, this is it.”
